Though biomass has been burnt for centuries in villages and areas around farms there is no pure and oxygenated air for sustaining life in most of the countries. The specific flora and fauna are becoming extinct in a changed environment.

Usage of briquetting plant: From the pharmaceutical companies in Gujarat to tea factories in Tamilnadu are now having their briquetting plant for manufacturing briquettes and are using briquettes in their boilers to generate steam. This was earlier done through, burning coal or Furnace oil to generate the heat to boil water. Through subtle modifications to the boiler, it is easy to start burning biomass briquettes.
